The 25th of December and 1st of January have seven days between them. In these seven days, we should remember and appreciate Christ and everything He's done for mankind, then evaluate ourselves. Find out where we've come short of His glory, figure out those mistakes we made, catch a glimpse of our regrets, being careful enough not to wallow in these regrets and mistakes, and then make better plans for the future (New year). Most people call it the 'new year resolution'. For a man or woman with purpose, this exercise helps keep them focused and in line with their personal vision.
