A NEW DAY

Have you thanked God this morning, for being so wonderful?
Take a minute or two to look out your window.
I don't know about yours but mine looks quite perfect.
There are tall beautiful palm trees,
There are playfully arranged grasses,
There are banana and plantain trees, my favorite!
There are coconut trees, you won't believe how short they are if I told you.
They amaze me 'cause day after day, they stay green and well nourished
Their setting will show you that nature in itself is creativity.
You have no idea how all these contribute to life but nothing amazes me more than the shade of blue the sky wears this morning
The detailed definition of the clouds
The lighting
Its stretch across every life this morning
Now you should watch the sun rise and you'll see everything fall into place dramatically, without your help and not mine
And at that moment those lovely chirpy group of birds dance past the sun and you wish that moment will never go away.
These are signs of the possibilities this new day brings with it
Forget yesterday's failures and put in hard work today
As a priest of my Father's house, I declare that whatever your hands findeth to do shall prosper.
Don't leave God out of this, take that little time to appreciate Him for all these are nothing without Him.

THE THIEF OF TIME

"After this, no more", Vin said to himself as he clicked on the next episode. This was the 8th time he was telling himself that. He really couldn't stop himself from wanting to know what happened next in the movie. For the past 8 hours he has had his eyes glued to the tv screen. He quickly looked at the clock on the wall to check the time, it was 01:25 am. He remembered he was going to write a quiz by 9am that morning. "After this episode, I'll read for the quiz" he thought and settled to watch the movie. "Grrring! Grrring!! Grrring!!!", the alarmed clock kept buzzing off. Vin opened his eyes slowly, yawning at the same time. He looked at the clock, 8.45 am. In disbelief, he wiped his eyes with his hand to make sure he wasn't still dreaming. "Jesus!
