How we met It all started mid- year 2003, when I had just graduated from High school and was trying to get into the university. I had a couple of months to wait for admission and so I was spending more time with my family and friends in my neighborhood. One sweet evening, I was on my way to the video rental store to return a movie I had rented when I noticed a fair, young, pretty girl coming home from school. I had never felt that way, seeing her pass by. Being the shy person I was back then, I did not say anything to her that day. However, I followed her to know exactly where she lived. As soon as she vanished into a black gate on a popular street, two streets away from mine, I felt my mission for that day was accomplished and so I retired home to strategize. When you speak to me; Time itself stands still. When i think about you; I feel so good and beautiful. When i remember our time together; I feel taken care of and loved. Close your eyes and feel it Feel the peace within Do you see how far it goes? It engulfs the entire mind It gives you that settled feeling, in the gut. That feeling that nudges you  to do a little extra That nudges you to go a little farther That nudges you to soar a little higher and stronger. It brings you to the point of realisation and actualisation To the point you're  up against the wall To that point you're  falling off the edge, and you have no other option than to land safely.  It is at this point, we all realise the reality of our reality. We've let fears boss our dreams We've let fantasies crush our ambitions We've had it all but was blinded by our own gutlessness We've led a false life. Now all we can do is make-up Not for the outward beauty But for the inner beauty of fearlessness, boldness, courage, integrity, honesty, love  and all that makes us real .

The c.e.o of smile 'n' blush makeovers, Chiamaka Ibemesi, a make up artist, model and a student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka,  added another year to her years, today. As a Lady, she encourages females to find their place in the society and not make the mistake of being undermined. Reaching out to entrepreneurs, she believes that is the way forward for Nigerian youths. Happy birthday and many more successful years to her.
